Our students win Gold and Silver at the OUT THERE Awards

A group of our students successfully ran a number of projects over the summer as part of the OUT THERE Awards.   

We are immensley proud to annouce that two of the projects delievered by four of our OAHH were selected to take part in the finals at Hedingley Stadium on the 23rd January 2026.  Huge congratulations to the four students who made it to the finals, winning Gold and Silver awards in the categories below:

Gold winners: This Is Me - Erin Lowe and Megan Brownsword
Build an Inclusive Community: Honouring 'inclusion innovators' who broke down barriers to ensure everyone feels valued. 

Silver winner: Your Local First Aid Bookworms - Lilith Squires and Mya Stewart
Make Your Community Safer: Awarded to 'community superheroes' who enhanced local security and safety awareness.

Lilith, Mya, Erin and Megan - your efforts have shown true commitment to our academy communtiy and beyond.  Thank you for getting involved and for truly making a difference.

Erin and Megan, as gold winners, now move onto the 'Out There National Finals', taking place in London on the 13th February, where a national winner will be selected.  'Do Well' girls, you've smashed it so far!
